

Short of StarvingI sometimes wonder what draws onto me As every meal with that negative existence, my stomach tightens. Tension filled air suffocates. That lump rises... Nausea grips me; every hair stiffens. Suddenly, I am no longer hungry. Eyes constrict with painful anticipation, tears fighting upwards. My head whirls. Then, all is calm. As if the eye has come, All is calm. Yet, we all know, the storm will come again...Short of Starving

A dolphin swam in a great big bay, Close to a vast blue ocean. It had reached daybreak; The sun had just stirred from it’s sleep.
The dolphin skimmed the water’s surface, Glimpsing gulls, just roused to get their breakfasts. Filled with delight to see a brand new day, The young one squeaked with glee.
He shot through the water, Racing the currents, Until he reached the bottom.
Down below were hidden treasures, Waiting to be discovered! Sea stars, shells, and tiny fishes Were all peeking out from their hidin


Possibly ImbalancedOnce again I am overwhelmed by disbelief. Invisible hands snake down my throat. Chokingly, my world blurs. Heart racing, I no longer know what to believe. That familiar rush fills my chest with fear. Once, that rush was brought by happiness. Once, that rush signalled excitement. Now, I know only fear. And doubt. How does the sun continue to shine When the positives die, The negatives cheer aye, And the neutral stand by? Spurring on the season's song, Time whirls past every wrong.Possibly Imbalanced
